Hi, I'm Jevon.

Zingy Tales means stories filled with a gentle spark of wonder and warmth, lively enough to capture young imaginations, yet calm and comforting enough to settle children peacefully into sleep.
I am a digital solopreneur building Zingy Tales and Zingy Trails, while also creating web apps for clients and digital marketing for brands. But Zingy Tales is the one closest to my heart.
It started with a story I wrote called The Rainy Day, a twelve-chapter thriller for kids about a storm and two children braver than they knew. I planned to finish it in a week. Instead I kept sitting down to write one page and looking up two hours later. Somewhere in there I realised this was what I wanted to make: stories for children, told well, at the hour of day when a story matters most.
I'm from Chennai, a city that runs on stories. I watch a couple of films every weekend (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Korean, Hollywood, whatever's good) and I've carried that love of a well-told tale my whole life. Kids feel that love instantly. Read to a child and watch their face: nobody listens like they do. Building something for that audience, for that wide-eyed twenty minutes before sleep, is the best job I've ever given myself.
So here's what Zingy Tales is: calm, original audio stories for ages 3 to 12, with 15 new ones every month. Gentle voices, soft music, endings that land like a blanket being pulled up. No ads inside stories. No tracking your child. Nothing scary before bed, ever.
When I’m not working on Zingy Tales or Zingy Trails, you’ll find me cycling, watching cricket, playing Ragnarok Online, visiting Thiruvanmiyur Beach, or planning a trip that always ends up being worth it. Goa, Singapore, Ireland, and New Zealand are my favorite holiday destinations.
Thanks for letting my stories into your home. It means more than you'd guess.
Goodnight,
Jevon Max
